Albany's Internet Mall began in the year 2000 as advertisements on a Gospel Music piano course website.  The first advertisements were travel related but soon included a varienty of products and services such as cuisine, apparel and more.  As the number and variety of advertisements grew, so did the need for a separate website for the advertisements.  A separate website was created using the name of the Gospel Music course, Gospel Music by Ear Internet Mall and advertised on a local television station in Albany Georgia.

In the Spring of 2001, Gospel Music by Ear Internet Mall was changed  to Albany's Internet Mall, to reflect the location of the service.  A visitors guide for Albany Georgia and Southwest Georgia was also added as a community service of Albany's Internet Mall.  A new affiliation with World Choice Travel, a division of Travelocity, also increased the need for more websites to accommodate the travel services offered through Albany's Internet Mall.

The result of all these expansions is a family of websites that provide a variety of online shopping and travel services.  Shopping at Albany's Internet Mall is accommodated by three websites:  The Mall provides shopping opportunities for entrepreneurs.  Products & Services provided products and services relative to entertainment.  What's New at Albany's Internet Mall? features apparel, autos, cuisine, gifts and health/beauty products.  Albany's  Internet Mall travel services include travel reservations to international destinations, destinations in the Souteastern United States and Mega-Fest Travel, emphasizing travel reservations to locations of meetings and conventions.

The Albany Georgia  and Southwest Georgia visitors guide an Albany Georgia  website and a Southwest Georgia website.   As an added service to the Albany Georgia and Southwest Georgia communities, Albany's Internet Mall maintains the website for Historic Albany Theatre of Albany Georgia, a performing arts center that is currently being restored. 

An Atlanta Georgia guide is the newest memeber of the Albany's Internet Mall family.  It provides information on the performing arts and attractions in Atlanta, dinner reservations, access to tours, fan sports paraphernalia as well as travel reservations services to Atlanta.
